A kali ka masiku a ci gwaja ni hawu avahi va ka mungana.
A siku ginwe a ci gwaja ci ti ngalu: Ahi fambi hi hlakana niku hi lava a zaku higa. A hawu yi vumeli nakuveni awuhi thlamu ka yona.
Vona va yile ka simu ga zvi pfaki va ya sangula a kuga.
Nakuveni n'wa thlari n'wa ci gwaja awa wulawulili ni n'winyi wa simu kasi aku phasa n'wa hawu kasi ku mukomba aku yena ahi wa cumu.
N'wa thlari n'wa ci gwaja a b'ili a huwa aku ngalu: Amakhamba! Amakhamba! A zvi pfaki zvi fambile, a gama a tlula a tsutsuma.
Hiku hatlisa, a n'winyi a humeleli ata kuma n'wa hawu na a zama aku tsutsuma. Kanilezvi, a mudoza wakwe wa ku leha a wu mu khomeletela.
A n'winyi wa simu a mu landzili na a kari a b'anguleka aku ngalu: Nyima! Nyima! Nziku wonili, hi wena n'wa hawu.
Kanilezvi, va mu khomili va sangula aku mub'a.
Anga zikotangi aku timisela, a ti ka yena aku ngalu: A nzi hi ni mungana wa mina n'wa ci gwaja. Hi yena anga nzi ramba.
Kanilezvi a venyi va simu va tsemili a mudoza wakwe va gama vaku ngalu: Famba uya bzela a mungana wa wena le zaku hiku tsemili a mudoza!
Va gama va famba le kaya ka n'wa ci gwaja va ya bika a mudoza wa n'wa hawu kasi va ga. N'wa ci gwaja a rambili n'wa hawu kasi a ku ta fehlula.
Loku va mbetili aku fehlula n'wa ci gwaja a wotisili n'wa hawu lezvi a nga ga a kama wa ku fehlula. N'wa ku fayela, n'wa hawu a hlamula aku ngalu: Ayeyi! A nzi zvi tivi.
N'wa ci gwaja a ti ngalu kakwe: U gili a mudoza wa wena, a gama a tsutsuma. Aku sukela ka siku legiya, ati nyamuthla a vahe va ka mungana.
