Ha wee gaa gosi ndị mmadụ. Ụmụ anụmanụ wee sị, "Anyi apụkwaghị ịkpụ-akpụ ọzọ."
Anụmanụ nk'ikpeazụ n'ahịri bụ Arịrị. Chiokike wee jụọ ya sị, "Onwere onye na-esote gị n'azụ?" Arịrị zara sị ya,"Mba, abụ m onye ikpeazụ."
Chiokike wee chee echiche, "Ọ bụ ya bụ onye ikpeazụ. Gịnị ka m ga-eji ụkwụ ndịa fodụrụ eme?"
Chiokike wee nye Arịrị ụkwụ nile fọdụrụnụ.
Obi wee tọọ Arịrị ụtọ nke ukwuu. O wee sị, "Aga m na-aga ije ọsịsọ karịa ndị ọzọ."
Mgbe Arịrị lara, Agwọ wee bịa n'ụlọ Chiokike. O wee sị Chiokike, "Biko, nyetụ m ụkwụ olemole."
Chiokike wee sị ya, "Enyepuchaala m ụkwụ nịle. Oleekwanu ebe ị nọ?"
Agwọ wee zaa sị, "Ehifere m ụra oke."
Chiokike wee sị Agwọ, "Ndo. Ọdịghịkwa ụkwụ fodụrunụ." Agwọ wee kpụrụkwa akpụrụ laa n'ụlọ ya n'enweghị ụkwụ.
