Nurhayati Rhoda
Karen Lilje and Wiehan de Jager
Bahasa Indonesia
Semut memandang tanaman
kecil dan kerikil disekitarnya. “Aku besar!” kata
Semut.
‘Tidak, Semut. Kamu tidak
besar,” kata Tupai. “Aku
yang besar!”
‘Tidak, Tupai. Kamu tidak
besar,” kata Kucing. “Aku
yang besar!”
"Tidak, Kucing. Kamu tidak besar," kata Hiena, "Aku yang besar!"
“Tidak, Hiena. Kamu tidak
besar,” kata Badak, “Aku
yang besar!”
“Tidak, Badak. Kamu tidak
besar,” kata Gajah, “Aku yang besar!”
Kemudian Gajah memandang ke
langit. Langit dipenuhi bintang. Langit sangat besar dan luas. Langit membentang ke segala arah. “Tidak, aku juga tidak besar! Kita semua kecil!” kata Gajah tersenyum.
