Mukiza yabanaga na se witwaga Senzoga.
Senzoga yajyaga kunywa inzoga buri munsi.
Senzoga yatahaga yasinze. Agatabaza ati: "Muntabare! Impyisi irandiye."
Abantu bahagera bagasanga yababeshyaga.
Senzoga akabikora buri joro.
Igihe cyose Senzoga yavuzaga induru, Mukiza yarakangukaga.
Ijoro rimwe, impyisi yategereje Senzoga.
Arataka ati: "Nimuntabare!" Abantu bati: "Turambiwe ibinyoma bya Senzoga."
Mukiza ategereza se aramubura.
Mukiza aravuga ati: "Data ari mu byago nta kabuza."
Mukiza ahita asohoka.
Karisa arahamagara ati: "Data! Data uri he?"

Impyisi ihita yiruka.
Kuva uwo munsi, Senzoga yarahindutse.

Ubu asigaye abwira abana udukuru.
