Kima na kiangazi kibaya
Brigid Simiyu
Kiswahili
Mvua haikunyesha. Ardhi ilikuwa kavu sana.
Kima aliondoka nyumbani kutafuta maji na chakula.
Alipitia milima na mabonde.
Alifika sehemu iliyoitwa Tirkol.
Kima alifurahia mahali hapa sana.
Alikula matunda akanona. Lakini, aliwakosa wenzake.
Kwa hivyo Kima alifunga safari kurudi nyumbani.
Kima wengine walifurahi kumwona.
Walimuuliza, “Hii ni sehemu gani iliyo na matunda?”
“Nitawapeleka huko,” Kima aliwajibu.
Kima wote walipendaTirkol. Waliamua kuishi huko milele.
Lakini kima wa Tirkol walikuwa na wasiwasi.
“Kima wageni watakula matunda yetu yote,” walisema.
Kima wa Tirkol walienda kuwavamia kima wageni.
Kima mzee aliuliza, “Mbona vita? Matunda yatatutosha!”
Ilikuwa ukweli. Kima waliamua kuishi pamoja kwa amani.
