Kiswahili
Kuku na Jongoo walikuwa marafiki.

Walitembea pamoja kila mahali.
Siku moja, walienda kucheza mpira wa miguu.
Kuku alisema, "Nitakuwa golikipa."

Jongoo alianza kucheza mpira.
Jongoo alicheza mpira kwa ustadi.

Alifunga bao la kwanza.
Kuku alishangaa akasema, "Haiwezekani!"

Alikasirika sana.
Kuku alifikiria namna ya kumwadhibu Jongoo.

Aliamua kummeza.
Kuku alikutana na Mamake Jongoo.

"Wapi mwanangu?" Mamake Jongoo aliuliza.
Jongoo aliyemezwa alilia, "Mama nisaidie. Kuku amenimeza."
Kuku hakupendezwa na ladha ya Jongoo.

Alihisi kichefuchefu.
Kuku aliwaza, "Nitafanyaje?"

Aliamua kukohoa ili amteme Jongoo.
Jongoo alipotemwa, alitafuta njia ya kutoroka.

Hakuamini alichotendewa.
Tangu siku hiyo, urafiki kati ya kuku na jongoo uliisha.
