Kudala, umvundla wayengumhlobo omkhulu wenkawu.
Ngenye imini umvundla wathi, "Makhe sihambe siyokhangela into etyiwayo." Inkawu yavuma, kodwa yayenzelwe umgibe.
Baya entsimini yombona baze baqalisa ukutya.
Kodwa umvundla ondwebileyo wayethethe nabanini bentsimi ukuze babambisele inkawu kwaye bayibonise ukuba yayisisidenge.
Umvundla ondwebileyo waqalisa ukukhwaza, "Amasela! Amasela! Umbona wenu wonke uphelile!" Waze watsiba wabaleka.
Ngesiquphe bavela abanini bentsimi baze bafumana inkawu izama ukubaleka. Kodwa yayinomsila omde kwaye kwakunzima ukuba ibaleke.
Abanini bentsimi bayilandela bekhwaza, "Yima! Yima! Sikubonile uyinkawu."
Bayibamba ke ngoko baze baqalisa ukuyibetha.
Zange ikwazi ukunyamezela iintlungu yaze yathi, "Bendikunye nomhlobo wam umvundla. Bendimenywe nguye."
Kodwa abanini bentsimi bawuqhawula umsila wayo baze bayixelela, "Hamba uyoxelela umhlobo wakho ukuba siwunqumle umsila wakho!"
Ngoko ke baya emzini womvundla baze bapheka umsila wenkawu bezakuwutya. Umvundla wamema inkawu izokutya isidlo sasemini.
Besakugqiba ukutya umvundla wabuza inkawu ukuba yayisazi ukuba itye ntoni na? Isidenge senkawu saphendula, "Hayi, andazi!"
Umvundla wayixelela ukuba yayigqiba kutya umsila wayo waze wabaleka. Babaziintshaba ukusukela ngoko!
