Rabbit fell asleep under a tree. Plick! Plock! Pluck! An apple fell on his head. Rabbit leaped up and binkied from the shade, while the apple rolled-on afterwards.
.
Bump! Rabbit zoomed into Chicken. "Sorry old Chicken. I speedily binkied away after an apple fell on my head," explained Rabbit, but he did not stop running. "Oh me oh my, then wait for me!" Rabbit and Chicken zoomed-off as the apple continued rolling after them.
Together they ran with the apple speedily following.
Bam! Rabbit and Chicken bumped into Dog, whom they told.
Dog joined in on the rabbit-chase, zooming down the avenue.
"Something fell and hit Rabbit's head, and came tumbling after," said Dog to Horse, who began to gallop with grace.
A binky here, a zoom and gallop there. The animals raced down the grassy plane.
The rabbit-race continued and Donkey had no idea, but joined at a steady pace.
Down the avenue the animals came, one after the other joining in on the chase.
The message reached Cow, who joined in on the chase.
The frenzy continued, with animals leaping and jumping.
Cat heard that something fell, but had no idea. The apple came tumbling after, so the chase down the avenue continued.
"Let's run Rabbit! Run!" meowed Cat, who had no idea, but lead the way in this spiralling chase.
Rabbit and his friends, caught in a frenzy, circled a little boy.
He yelled, "Run Rabbit! Run!"
They slowed-down, and the frenzy calmed, as they realized that this is the voice they heard.
The red-crunch was out of sight, and all that remained was Rabbit and his friends, finally calm and at-ease.
The little boy chuckled as Rabbit yielded.
"Don't run Rabbit! Don't run!"
Rabbit felt sad when he realized that he was misled by the little boy.
Rabbit and his friends returned to their homes where they lied down.
Rest Rabbit rest.
