Long time ago, Tortoise and Rabbit ran a race.

King Lion decided to send them to a neighbouring king.

Tortoise and Rabbit set out together.

King Lion watched them go.

The road they used was full of stones and thorns.

Rabbit carried Tortoise over thorns.

When they reached the river, Tortoise carried Rabbit across.

Tortoise swam very fast.

Rabbit held on his back.

Tortoise and Rabbit met with the neighbouring king.

On the way home, they were even better friends!
