My name is Taguto.I live in a braai room of a pale hat wearing baboon.I am waiting for the days to become longer.I need the sunshine on my skin because it gives me energy.Until then,i will brumate(slower heart rate,breathing and metabolism)

I have been on this wall brumating for 3 days. I feel weak, cold and thirsty. I need water to survive. I am getting worried.

Day 4.
A pale baboon-like creature with a hat gave me water. I am so scared, but so grateful.

Day 5
I feel better. I can move better. I am keeping an eye on the pale baboon wearing a hat... just in case he eats me.

Day 6
I feel the warmth of the sun. I finally feel strong enough to lift my head. And yes, the pale-hat-wearing baboon creature still visits every day... Such a strange-looking creature

Day 7
Tomorrow I will be ready to go outside into the warm sun. I am thankful to the hat-wearing baboon creature.

Day 8
Now I can explore the world outside the braai room, the land of Barrydale. Thank you for helping me survive pale-hat-wearing baboon. You are more lizard than you know.
