Pig and dog were good friends. "Welcome to my home, my friend piggy," dog called out on seeing him.

They had been long time friends. Sometimes they quarelled but would soon become friends again.

On this too, pig came to spend some time with his friend dog. Pig was pleased to see dog in his place once again.

"Oh, your place is by the forest, it's so cool here," pig said. "I love it here," he said fanning himself.

Soon, it was late evening. Dog warned him from the doorway, "hey pig, it's time to come inside, there are wild animals here."

"It's breezy here, I can't go in now, give me a little time more," pig said. " I'm warning you to come in now, else it will be late, " replied dog.

Just as dog could finish talking, a peal of howls was heard from the wolves. Pig did not know where to run to.

"Dog, help! help, dog!! The wolves are after me," pig cried. But I told you, I told you again and again! " Pig managed to reach dog's door, as dog pushed the door hard and banged it immediately. Pig escaped from the wolves!
