Orok was playing outside when he saw a dark thing stuck to his feet.

He stepped forward.
It stepped forward too.
“Ah! Who is this?” he shouted.

Orok jumped high.
The thing jumped too.
“It’s copying me!” he cried.

He ran in circles.
The thing chased him everywhere.
“Leave me alone!” Orok yelled.

Orok picked up a broom.
“I will beat you!”
He swung… but only hit the ground.

Then he stopped.
He raised his hand.
The thing raised its hand too.

“Mummy!” Orok called.
His mum laughed. “That’s your shadow. Light makes it follow you.”

Orok grinned.
“Ohhh… so you’re my copy!”
He started dancing.
His shadow danced too.
“Good!” Orok laughed. “At least now I have a dance partner!”
