

Kwame loved food.
He asked his grandmother, "What are the recipes that make Ghana's food so delicious?"
Grandma smiled.
"There are different recipes from each region. Let me tell you about the foods that make our country special."
First, grandma took Kwame to Kejetia Market in Kumasi to taste Jollof rice.
"Yum!" said Kwame.
Next, Kwame tasted Waakye.
Waakye is a staple food for the people of Upper East Region of Ghana.
Banku and Tilapia is the favourite of the people in Western Region.
Fufu is the staple food of the people from the Ashanti Region.
Fufuo is made from cassava and plantain.
It is eaten with rich soup.
Tuozaafi is the main meal enjoyed by the people from the Northen region of Ghana.
Porridge is made from corn or millet.
It is a breakfast recipe for the people of Upper Western part of Ghana.
Kenkey is a staple food for the people of the Greater Accra Region.
It is best served with fish.
"All these foods make Ghana a delicious country," grandma said.
