Kofi loved building things from old boxes, strings, and bottles.
Even as he played with others, his mind was full with new ideas.
One afternoon, Kofi saw a broken bench left outside.
His friends did not even notice it.
Kofi stopped and looked at it closely.
"This bench could be fixed," Kofi thought. "But I'm just a kid."
Still, the idea stayed in Kofi's mind.
At home, Kofi sketched the bench in a notebook.
He drew nails, wood, and strong legs.
The next day, Kofi talked to Grandma.
"Every big change begins with a small step. Big dreams often start small," Grandma encouraged him.
Kofi smiled.
Kofi asked some of his friends to help.
They brought tools and ideas to work together. They felt good.
They measured carefully and fixed the bench. It did not look right.
They tried again. This time, the bench stood strong.
Everyone was happy.
They all returned to the playground.
Parents sat on the bench. The children rested.
The once broken bench, now had a new life.
