The lost necklace

Amina loved her small, shiny necklace. It was a gift from her grandmother, and she wore it every day. One afternoon, while playing near the river with her friends, she laughed, ran, and jumped but when she got home, the necklace was gone.

Amina’s heart sank. She searched her pockets, her bag, and every corner of the house. Nothing. Tears filled her eyes as she remembered how special it was.
The next morning, she went back to the river. Slowly, she retraced her steps, looking

looking carefully in the grass and along the water’s edge. Just as she was about to give up, something sparkled in the sunlight. There it was her necklace, caught on a small branch!
Amina smiled with joy and held it tightly. From that day

she learned to be more careful with the things she loved most.
