The magic calabash

In a small village, a young boy named Taye found a calabash that glowed under the moonlight. When he opened it, the calabash whispered: “I grant what is needed, not what is wanted.”
At first, Taye was puzzled. When he wished for food,

the calabash provided a feast,but only enough to share with the whole village. When he wished for gold, it gave him lessons in generosity instead.
The villagers soon realized that the calabash was more than magical; it taught wisdom,

kindness, and courage. Its power lay not in giving what was asked, but in shaping hearts to understand what truly mattered.
Taye kept the calabash for life, learning that true magic is in sharing, listening, and using gifts to bring joy .
