Once upon a time, in a quiet village, there was a donkey named Babu. Babu was strong and patient, but the villagers relied on him too much. Every morning, he carried heavy sacks of grain, bundles of firewood, and water pots, from sunrise to
sunset, without a single rest.
One day, Babu grew so tired that he could barely take a step. He stopped in the middle of the dusty road and refused to move. The villagers were frustrated. “Why won’t you work today, Babu?” they shouted. But
Babu shook his head and brayed loudly, as if to say, “Even the strongest need rest!”
A wise elder of the village saw this and said, “We have been taking Babu for granted. We must share the work and care for him.” From that day on,
the villagers took turns carrying the loads, and Babu finally had time to rest and enjoy life. He was still strong, but now he was happy too.
