I am Doris
Grace Onu
Rob Owen

My name is Doris.

I am 13 years old.

I live in a small community somewhere in the world.

1

My mother died few months after I was born.

My father raised me alone. He loves me so much, and I love him too.

2

I love animals. I love sheep the most because they are so gentle.

They are cute and have soft fur.

3

I also adore butterflies. Their colourful wings are beautiful.

They make our little community beautiful when they fly around.

4

I go to school everyday with my friends.

We hold hands and talk as we walk to school.

It makes the distance to school shorter, safer and exciting.

5

I love sciences because I learn about the world. I learn how to use a microscope in science class.

A microscope is used to see objects and organisms that our ordinary eyes cannot see.

6

My teacher, Mrs. Ada, always helps us to learn better in class.

I love and appreciate my teacher.

I want to become like her in future.

7

On Sunday we go to church. Afterwards, we return home and eat our special rice and stew.

I am just a simple girl with big dreams.

Tell me about you!
