Pig and dog were good friends.

"Welcome to my home my friend Piggy," dog called out on seeing him.

They had been long time friends.

Sometimes they quarrelled but would soon become friends again.

On this day too, pig came to visit dog.

Dog was pleased to see pig in his home once again.

"Oh, your place is by the forest, it's so cool here," pig said.
"I love it here," he said fanning himself.

Soon, it was late evening.

Dog called from the door way, "hey pig, it's time to go inside, there are wild animals here."

"It's so breezy here, I can't go in now, give me a little time more, said pig.

"I'm warning you to come in now, else it will be late," replied Dog.

Just as dog could finish talking, a peal of howls was heard from the wolves.

Pig did not know which direction to run to.

"Dog, help! Help, dog!! The wolves are after me," Pig cried!!! "But I told you, I told you again and again!"


Pig managed to reach the door, as dog pushed the door hard to close it. Pig escaped from the wolves!!!
