On a wide windy Savannah lived a hunter called Bako. He was tall, handsome and full of life. He had a wife and a son living with him in his little hut. Bako pocessed all the qualities of a man physically but he was very lazy.

1

One morning, his wife and son woke up really hungry. They hadn't eaten a night before, they sat down outside their tiny hut looking sad and pale. Bako became concerned and set out to hunt for an animal to feed his family.

2

He whispered within himself, "I will capture the biggest animal in the forest today".
Bako set out to the forest with his spear to hunt for food.
He walked some distance and soon became tired. He was ready to go back home.

3

He suddenly spotted a giraffe, the giraffe was really tall and beautiful.
He was excited that he had found a good Catch for dinner today. "But how do I get hold of this giraffe, I only have a spear I cannot use and the animal is really big"

4

He walked closer to the giraffe and noticed that the giraffe was tied to a tree. Hmmmm he thought to himself, "this giraffe definitely belongs to someone, but I will take it since no one is here"
Bako was so lazy that he wanted to steal.

5

Bako threw his spear at the giraffe but the spear hit the rope used to tie it and the giraffe was set free. The giraffe ran as fast as it legs could carry it.
Bako ran after the giraffe, held it's tail but the giraffe over powered him.

6

Bako was really confused, he stood for a while helpless and degected.
He looked at the giraffe running away, he couldn't work hard to catch his own animal to feed, the one he was about to steal ran away. Now he has no food for his family.

7

Bako returned home in shame and dissapointment.
He couldn't provide food for his house hold.
The villagers mocked him and he lost his self respect.
