Once upon a time, there lived an inquisitive girl called Akosua. Akosua loved asking questions.“Why do seeds grow?” Akosua wondered. “Why do days change?Grandma smiled and said, “Time will tell.”
One day, Akosua found a tiny seed in their garden. It was brown and very small.“Will this become a big plant?” Akosua asked.Grandma handed Akosua a pot. “Plant it, water it, and wait. Time will tell.”
Every morning, Akosua checked the pot.The first two days nothing happened.Akosua was worried. “Maybe it won’t grow.”Grandma said softly, “Good things take time.”
On the fourth day, a tiny green shoot popped out! Akosua jumped with joy. “It’s growing!” “Yes,” Grandma laughed. “Time told us so.”
At school, Akosua wanted to read the biggest book right away. The words looked hard.“I can’t read this yet,” Akosua sighed. The teacher said, “Practice a little every day. Time will tell.”
Akosua practiced reading one page at a time. Some days were easy. Some days were not.But Akosua did not give up.
Weeks later, the plant had tall green leaves.Akosua could also read the big book slowly, but proudly.“Look!” Akosua said. “I did it!”
Grandma clapped. “See what patience can do?”Akosua nodded. “Waiting helps things grow.” “Yes,” said Grandma. “Time teaches us.”
Soon, the plant grew a bright yellow flower.Akosua smiled and felt happy inside. Some answers come fast. Others come later.
That night, Akosua looked at the stars.“I understand now,” Akosua whispered. “Time will tell.”And with a peaceful heart, Akosua went to sleep.
