ld .but that all changed when a man called Dr Barnardo came to London to see conditions and when he got there he was shocked. After this he abandoned his job as a doctor and devoted his life to helping these children.

At first, he could only have a limited number of boys he could have until he turned his back on a 10 year old boy and he was found dead! From then on dr banardo vowed NEVER to turn away anyone. And then his wife came to help
