Internet Safety
Princess Sio

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Juliet. She was beautiful, smart, and a well-behaved girl. The only problem was that she was too naive. People often took advantage of her kindness.

1

One day, her parents bought her a computer. They told Juliet to use it wisely and to never trust strangers online. Juliet was too excited to even listen to a word her parents said and just nodded.

2

Juliet began using the computer almost everyday. At first, she only used it for her studies. But then she met people online. They were nice, friendly, and helpful — at least for her.

3

She started sharing informations about her to people she has never met in her life. She did not care about her safety because she thought everyone has pure intentions with her.

4

She was starting to forget about her real life as she was so focused on the internet. Everytime someone approaches her online, she would talk to them without thinking whether they have a good or bad intentions.

5

Juliet never experienced anything bad online. Until one day, a random person sent her a message. This person had a bad intention towards her. They asked for her number, personal informations, and other things that should be kept private.

6

Juliet did not hesitate one bit and gave her personal informations and started sharing things about her that strangers are not supposed to know. She believes that everyone can be trusted.

7

The stranger she had talk to suddenly spread Juliet’s personal informations and her real identity to people online. Everyone started judging and threw hateful comments at her.

8

She remembered her parents warning about using the internet wisely. She realized that not everyone can be trusted. Not everyone is her friend. She learned that sharing too much information can lead to something bad.

9

There are a few people on the internet that are still trustworthy—but let’s not forget that not everyone are genuine and has pure intentions towards us. Let’s learn to be mindful of who we trust and share things to.
