Once upon a time, in the village of Tupendane, there lived a man called Alvin. He had a wife called Grace. The two of them lived happily.
Grace got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl. They named her Patio.
Patio was a beautiful child. Alvin and Grace loved Patio and gave her the best food and beautiful clothes.
When Patio was old enough, the parents gave her a good education.
Patio did well in her studies and she was a very wise and intelligent girl.
Patio had beautiful golden hair. Her hair grew till it was touching the ground.
Everyone in the village was amazed.
People loved Patio's hair because it was different from theirs. While Patio's hair was golden, theirs was black in colour.
Patio's hair really shined like the sun.
Patio used to wash her hair every Saturday. She didn't not want it dirty. She would dry it using a towel and then oil it using hair food.
Then she would tie them or leave them hung. She would then go to play.
One day a magician woman stole her from her lovely family. She took her to a tall strange - looking building. The house had no stairs or door but it only had a small window so the magician used to sing for Patio .
She would leave her hair lye down and the magician would climb up to the house using Patio's hair. This continued for like two years. Patio's parents were really worried about their beloved daughter. They had given up looking for her.
They decided to forget about her but Grace Patio's mother refused. She started remembering the day she gave birth to her and how they lived with joy and she started crying.
Patio loved singing, so one day when the magician was out, she went at the window and started singing. There was a boy nearby who was looking for his friends and he was attracted with her voice. He left looking for his friends.
He went to where Patio was. "Hello beautiful angel ! My name is Patrick"the boy said smiling. "Hello too ! My name is Patio", she answered smiling back to the boy. "Can you come down please?" Patrick continued. "Yes", she answered.
She let her long hair hung on the ground and told Patrick to tie the ending on a tree nearby and he did so. Patio came down using her own hair. Patrick was very amazed about that because he had never seen such a thing before.
He even started asking Patio about her own details. She told him her full names, her home her parents names and their phone numbers. He also asked her about how she arrived at that place. Patio told Patrick everything he asked her.
So he decided to help her get out of the forest because the house was in a forest. After two hours of walking they were finally out of the evil forest. Patrick called Patio's parents through the phone.
He asked for the direction of their home and they told him. After knowing the direction, Patrick took Patio home and went and hand her over to her parents. Mother and daughter hugged and both cryed tears of joy.
They questioned her about where she was and how she went there. She explained to them everything. When the magician woman arrived home, she sung but no one replied and so she decided to climb up the house using the wall .
Unfortunately when she arrived at the middle of the house, she fell down and died on the spot. No one was nearby so she rot and that was the end of her. At Patio's home, they organized for a party. They ate and drank to their full.
They danced and celebrated together as they thanked God for protecting their child where she was till He brought her back home alive and safe. They invited their neighbours and friends and they celebrated together.
After completing their studies, Patio and Patrick loved one another and they got married to each other. Since that time they lived a happy life ever.
