Never Give Up On Your Dreams
Victoria Vincent

My name is Isla. I am a 14-year old girl. This is the story of how I followed my dream and became a star!.

1

I was a shy girl and I was not close to my parents.
Normally, after morning devotion, I'd greet them and prepare for school and on weekends I'd eat my breakfast and do my homework or just read.

2

I saw my twin brother on TV showcasing the basketball game he played.
I had always dreamed of becoming a basketball player since when I was seven. I did not have the courage then to tell my parents that I loved basketball, but my bro did.

3

This made me to pick up the courage to tell my parents. And they agreed!. I was so excited. They enrolled me at a basketball training school and I loved it.

4

I was nervous at first but the coach encouraged me and I felt better.
I did well during the training course.
After one month of training, a basketball tournament was announced and I was fortunate enough to be selected among the players.

5

With the help of my parents, brother, friends and coach, I was able to win the tournament and was given a scholarship to help me go through High School and College.

6

Now I am a well known basketball player because I followed my dream.
So NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR OWN DREAM!
