From the sunny garden came a team of heroes.
Carrot ran first.
"I will help you see!" said Carrot.
"My power gives you bright eyes!"

Broccoli held up a big green shield.
"I will stop the bad germs!" said Broccoli.
"I will keep you safe!"

Tomato sprayed cool water.
"I will help calm your body," said Tomato.
"I will help your heart too!"

Spinach showed his muscles.
"I will make you strong!" said Spinach.
"I will give you power to grow!"

Garlic tiptoed in.
"I will fight the germs quietly," said Garlic.
"I am a ninja!"

Kale showed his armor.
"I will keep your body strong," said Kale.
"I will help your bones stay hard."

Corn swooped in.
"I will make you fast," said Corn.
"I will help your tummy feel good."

"We are The Veggie Hero's!" they all said.
They chased away the germs.

The body felt strong again.
"Thank you, Veggie Hero's!" it said.
"I feel like a hero!"
