Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a bright red umbrella named Ruby.
Ruby dreamed of one day protecting someone from a real storm.

1

But no one chose Ruby.
People always picked the bigger, stronger umbrellas.
Ruby felt too small

2

A little girl named Amara ran out of school, searching for cover.
All the big umbrellas were gone.
She saw Ruby, standing alone.

3

Amara grabbed Ruby and opened her.
“Please don’t break!” Amara whispered.
Ruby stretched her little arms wide and stood firm.

4

The rain splashed and the wind pushed,
but Ruby held strong!
Together, Ruby and Amara made it home safely.

5

From that day on, Amara loved Ruby most of all.
Ruby learned that even the smallest umbrella can make a big difference.
