It was a hot and sunny day. Tanya wanted to visit the park.

She decided to ask her granny, "Granny, please may we visit the park today?"
Granny said "Yes, but only if you can clean your room."

So Tanya went to her room and started cleaning. She put away all her toys and straightened her bed.

After she was done she looked at her clean clothes and thought, "hmm, what shall I use to the park?"
She picked out a summer dress, socks and then her favourite takkies.

She went to her granny, all ready and said "granny, may we also take some food?"
Granny said "I have already made some cheese sandwiches and cut up some fruit."

Granny asked Tanya to pack the lunch in a bag, and so she did. They were now ready to go to the park.
