One day, Sarah and Thando went into the forest.
It was a warm and sunny day, the grass was as green as peas.

They came across a maopane worm and Thando shouted “Look a maopane worm!”

On this one day there was a huge bird flying over the mopane worm.
“I will eat you!” said the bird.

The mopane worm had to be clever so it curled up and stayed still

The bird flew away and the mopane worm was safe.She turned into a beautiful butterfly.
