Anton is a 3 year old boy. He loves to smile and he is always happy. He lives with his mother and father.

Anton's home is a beautiful cottage on the shore of a small lake on the edge of a wonderful forest.

Anton loves to play a lot. He has toys that he plays with each day.

He builds a castle out of sand from the lake shores using his bucket. He scoops mud using his toy shovel.

He floats his boat on the lake and pretends to be a sailor.

Anton also has a small blue tricycle, with a sturdy blue helmet to protect his head.

He rides along the paths around his home. Sometimes he goes near the forest to see animals and insects.

He smiles at the animals and says hello.

Some days he wanders off into the beautiful forest and looks at the birds, insects and plants.

He loves the different colours and shapes of the different animals and plants.

The animals and birds also look at him with curiosity.

Anton's family has a farm with pigs, chicken and ducks.

Anton helps to feed the animals and clean their houses.

Anton has a pet dog that he plays with.

After working on the farm and getting very dirty, Anton and his parents swim in the lake with the ducks and fish.

Anton loves diving and making big splashes in the water. This scares the fish and ducks and they stare at him.

Anton learned how to fish. He sat on the pier and caught fish for many hours.

Anton's parents wanted to find a school for him. There were no schools near his farm because it was remote.

The family had to move to the city.

Anton had never been to the city so he was very excited on the day of the trip. He had a very big smile on his face as they waited for the bus.

When they got off the bus, Anton was awed by the tall buildings, many people, the noise from cars and drones.

This was all new to him and his eyes were wide open. He looked at every new thing that he noticed.

The following day Anton was in his new school and was feeling sad. He had to sit in class for many hours listening to his teacher.

He wanted to play with his tricycle or look at animals and play with his dog, but he could not.

All the fun things he was used to were back at home. He did not like it here, he wanted to cry.

A girl called Lukundo came and started talking to him. She asked him to go outside and play with the other children.

Lukundo was his new friend.

Lukundo took Anton to the other children at the playground. The children were very kind to him.

This made him happy and they played together.

Anton learned new games and made more friends. School was not so bad after all.

When Anton's mother came to pick him up in the afternoon, she saw that he was happy.

He told her everything. He talked about how sad he was, how Lukundo cheered him up, and how the other children were kind to him.

He loved his new school.

Anton was happy with his new life. He loved his new home and his new school.

He was learning many new things that he never knew at the farm.
