One afternoon, Khumo and his friends named Pepe, Chino and Abdul where playing at home. When suddenly, a thought crossed his mind, "let's explore the forest," he said.

Pepe agreed, "Let's do it!"
"I'm in," said Abdul.
"Eh...I don't know"

Exclaimed Chino

"Oh don't be a baby!" the boys said.
"Uhm, okay, I guess", he said.
And into the forest they went.
Khumo went to report to his mother that he is leaving. And she reminded him to stay safe and never talk to strangers.

As the boys went deeper in the woods, clouded by lots of trees, and the singing birds. Khumo tripped over and rock and fell.

Khumo cried as they consoled him.
"Let's go drink water by river," said Chino.

On their way to the river they came across a big hole and heard disturbing noise.
"Don't get close," Chino whispered
As Khumo got closer, the sound grew bigger and bigger. "It's not safe!" Chino said.
Khumo got close and to his surprise...

It was a puppy!
He grabbed the dog and it immediately started jumping on him, liking him and wagging it's tail as to show gratitude for him saving it.
"You are so cute, i'm going to keep you. You are now Oreo."

"Khumo no, we are going to get in trouble for taking someone else's dog," Chino said.
"You are such a baby! The dog doesn't have an owner," said the boys.
"Look how cute he looks."

The boys and Oreo got to the river. As they were drinking water, someone yelled, "Get away from there you silly dog."
As they looked over, they were met with a rain of stones.

"Run!" yelled Khumo.
The boys ran, leaving Chino behind. He cried, and ran.
When they were safe, Chino shouted them.
"I didn't want to come here, it's your fault Khumo. You shouldn't have kept an unknown dog."

As they boys fought, Chino considered breaking their friendship. However, Pepe reminded them the importance of friendship. They called it truce, hugged it out and kept the dog.
At the end of the day, friendship is important.
