Mosima and Tumi were two girls who were friends.
They lived in Alexandra, Gauteng.
Mosima and Tumi loved pets.
Mosima's pet was a cat, and Tumi's pet was a kid, a baby goat.
The girls took good care of their pets.
They gave them food and water and used to bathe them.
One day, Tumi went to a sports game at school.
She asked her grandfather to look after the kid.
Grandfather was old, but he was still able to walk.
The kid ran away, and grandfather did not see it.
The kid approached the bushes.
It ate food that had plastic on it!
Grandfather asked people to help him look for the kid.
They found it, but it was not feeling well.
Tumi found the kid like that and asked Grandfather, "Why is my kid like this?"
Grandfather replied, "I think it ate something that is not good."
Tumi then took the kid to the vet, and they found that it ate plastic.
They were able to help it.
Tumi went around teaching other children the importance of throwing trash into bins.
This would keep the place clean.
