The grumpy bear walked around his cold, rocky cave all day. He missed the fun times with his friends, but now he only had his own growling to keep him company. It had been so long since he saw anyone, and the quiet made him even grumpier.
Even though he pretended not to care, the bear missed his friends very much. He longed to hear their cheerful voices and feel happy again. But instead of admitting it, he stayed in his cave, feeling grumpy and lonely.
Deep down, he knew that if he didn't go out and look for his friends, he might stay alone forever.
