Once upon a time, there was a poor boy who was hungry and thirsty. He asked for a meal but no one replied him.

He went to a nearby village to knock at the door of a house.

A young woman opened the door for him. He was very frightened thinking that he would be beaten.

The young woman asked "What do you want boy?" He could not ask for a meal but only asked for a cup of water. The young woman was very kind and gave him a large glass cup of milk in place of water that the boy asked for.

The poor boy was surprised that the woman gave him milk in place of water, of which milk is very expensive. The poor boy told the woman that he did not have money for the milk.

The young woman replied, "My mother has taught us never to accept any payment for kindness. The poor thanked her and left.

Many years later, the boy became a medical doctor. One day, the woman fell sick and was taken to the hospital. When a doctor came to treat her, he remembered the face at once, the woman who had given him a glass of milk years back.

When the woman was well and it was time for payment. The doctor said, "Do not worry for the payment has been made with a glass of milk". The doctor explained to her that he was the boy whom she had given a glass of milk many years ago.
