It was Christmas Eve, and little Benny the Bunny was so excited! He hopped around the snowy forest, looking for the perfect gift for his best friend, Tilly the Squirrel.

1

But Benny had no money, and no big presents to give to his friend. What can I do? He sighed. "I want to make someone feel special. "

2

He wandered through the woods, looking for ideas. He peeked into flowers patches, listened to birds sing, and watched the river sparkle.

3

Still, Benny had no idea. "I don't have anything special," he whispered.
Tilly whispered back, "But Benny, you are special."

4

Then, Benny had an idea! He ran to Tilly's tree and said, "Come outside! I have a special Christmas gift for you." Tilly scurried down, curious.

5

Benny pointed to the sky. "The star is my gift to you! Every night, it will shine just for us."

6

Tilly's eyes sparkled. "It's the best gift ever!" She cheered.
Just then, the star twinkled even brighter, as if it heard them.

7

Benny and Tilly hugged. "Christmas isn't about big gifts," Tilly said, "it's about sharing love and joy. "
