Christmas holidays

It was a day of Christmas when Koko came in from the farm with some delicious fruits. We were happy to see her since she went out early in the morning before we woke up. It was a beautiful day and the sun outside was shiny and bright.

1

We then gathered in the kitchen to look at the fruits Koko brought. Those fruits looked so fresh and they were mouth watering, me and my cousins were ready to have a bite of each fruit inside the basket. Mmm! "We all said".

2

We went outside to discuss about who should ask koko the permission to eat the fruits after lunch, but I couldn't wait longer to have just one bite. I asked my cousins to steal just one fruit and share it amongst us. Bananas are my favorite

3

My cousin Thobi said I should go and ask koko before stealing any of her fruits, she also reminded me that stealing is not good. We all agreed to go and koko told us to wait until lunch so that she can prepare them for us first.

4

A couple of minutes later, I decided to sneak out and enjoy myself while everyone was sitting in the lounge. Mmmh banana! I said to myself. They were so delicious i almost finished them all because I couldn't hold myself; I continued to eat

5

Thobi and Lerato saw the empty basket, i think they already knew that i was the one who ate those fruits because i left everything there, untidy. I was full and excited but my stomach started to hurt a couple of minutes after eating.

6

My cousins called koko, banana peels were all over the place. Koko was angry to see what i did. I was nowhere to be found; I hid myself at the toilet. I had diarrhea but nothing was coming out. Koko knew the fruits had chemicals on them

7

Thobi went to ask koko if she has seen me, he was worried about me. Koko was busy knitting and she was also worried but was mad at me for not listening when she talked and begged us. I didn't blame her because i was wrong for being stubborn

8

I kept on running up and down feeling like vomiting. My stomach was very painful, I remembered koko's words when she told us to wait for her to prepare them first. I should have washed them first more especially apples and pears.

9

I went to apologize to koko because even though i was not feeling right i had to and i was also feeling ashamed of myself. Koko was angry at me but she then became calm and understood that i did what i did out of stubbornness.

10

A while later, i went outside just to cool off because koko gave me some medicine to drink. My stomach was not hurting anymore but i was still sweating and i had a little bit of dizziness. That day i learned to be patient.

11

Koko and my cousins came to me and they all hugged me. I felt better because i thought they wouldn't forgive me for what i did. I told them that i learned from my mistakes and i will always be patient and wait for the right time to come.
