Prayer for rain

Once upon a time, deep in the mountains where the Thabanjalo community was situated, the people faced a drought problem. Then one day, they decided to gather under a tree and pray for rain.

The preacher gave people hope and assurance that it will rain. ''Fear not my people let us have hope that it will rain." People felt so motivated to pray for rain even more.

Children were playing outside then they suddenly noticed a giant black rain cloud.

Mother went outside and yelled "Jabu get inside the house." The big cloud was now approaching faster now!

The rain indeed poured!

We were excited for the rain but it did not stop.

The was water everywhere,the bridge was washed away by the floods.

The houses were also washed away by the floods!

People were prepared to plant, but they could not because of the heavy rain.

Crocodiles were swimming around everywhere. This had never happened before!

We could not go outside anymore,even to shopping because the bridge was washed away!

Sipho said to his cats "I cannot believe that we are spending so much time together all thanks to the heavy rain."
"Even in our toughest times, there's always good to be found."

Crocodile - scary animals that stays in the water.
Preacher- man of God.
Bridge- an object we use to crossover.
Cat- a friendly pet.
