Once upon a time, in a land not far away from the farm, there lived a young girl named Alina.
Alina loved playing outside, but one day she noticed that the grass and flowers in the yard were starting to turn brown and wilt.
She asked her parents what was happening, and they explained that there had been a drought, and the plants weren't getting enough water.
Alina was determined to help, so she came up with a plan. She decided to start conserving water by turning off the faucet when she brushed her teeth, and taking shorter showers.
Alina's efforts paid off, and she soon began to notice a difference. The grass and flowers in the yard started to look greener, and the birds began to sing again.
Alina's family was impressed by her efforts to conserve water, and they decided to join in. They started to take shorter showers, too, and began to collect rainwater to water their gardens.
As the drought continued, Alina and her family began to spread the word about water conservation to their neighbors and they too decided to join in conserving water.
Alina's family, friends and neighbors now know the importance of saving water.
