The fruit thief

Long time ago, there was a boy named Matome who had lost his parents, he lived on the streets.

Matome would survive by stealing food, especially fruits since he could easily find them outside the houses and they did not have to be cooked.

During the day he would check those going out and sneak inside the houses to help himself with some food.

The community realized that there was a thieve that really loved fruits. They hired men to guard the whole community, day and night.

One day, the men caught Matome while trying to get some fruits. They called the whole community to witness this.

Matome was very scared. He said he stole because he is homeless and hungry. The fruits gave him vitamins and energy, they made him strong.''I am very sorry'', He said.

The people felt sorry for him that they stopped shouting at him. Tebogo's mom was touched and then asked him to stay with them.

Matome was excited that he found a home. Tebogo was also happy that he gained a brother.

They all lived happily ever after.
