There lived an old lady in a village called Abenase.

She lived alone and did everything by herself.

On her way from her farm, she fell down and injured her knee.

She was in great pain.

Fortunately, a farmer and his wife returning from their farm, saw her. They took her home and treated her injured knee.

The old lady was grateful to the farmer and his wife for their kindness.

One day she invited the farmer and his wife to her house.

She told them that she had something special for them.

They wondered what it was.

After the meal, she gave them a pot that contained gold.

She told them that it was given to her by her mother before she died.

She said to them, "This gift is a token of my appreciation to you for taking care of me when I injured my leg."

The farmer and his wife were very surprised.

They hugged and thanked the old lady.

They waved their goodbyes.

As they left, they promised to remain kind, hospitable, and caring neighbours at all times.
