One day, a young sparrow named Peter was flying in the forest, looking for a juicy worm to eat.

2

He spotted a worm wriggling on the ground and he said to himself, "what a juicy and fat worm to have as a lunch mal". He then swooped down to grab it.

3

Just as Peter was about to grab the worm, the Cat then showed up and tried to grab Peter. He wanted to make Peter his meal for the day.

4

But just as the Cat was about to grab Peter, another bird swooped in from above.

5

It was a great horned Owl, and it snatched the Cat by the tail and carried it away. "Put me down, put me down" said the Cat with great anger. "I will not put you down you bring danger in the forest, and I am taking you far away from the forest" said the Owl.

6

The Owl dropped the Cat in a lake, and the Cat was never seen again.

7

Peter was so grateful to the Owl for saving his life. He said " thank you the great horned Owl, you are so kind". "You are welcome Peter" said the Owl.

8

He decided to befriend the Owl and learned many things from him.

9

The Owl said " Peter you must always be very careful in the forest because there is a lot of danger in it". Peter said to the Owl "I hear you the great horned Owl, but can you please teach me about the forest and how to live in it?". "Have no worries Peter I will teach you", said the Owl. The Owl taught Peter about different types of birds, the best places to find food, and the dangers of the forest.

10

Peter became very wise and knowledgeable bird, thanks to his friendship with the Owl.
