Udder- word used to for animal's breast.
Shearing- cut the wool off (a sheep or other animal).
Hen- a female chicken.
Compromise- To compromise is to make a deal between different parties where each party gives up part of their demand

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful farm in a little southern village.

Mrs. Helen was a kind lady who lived off the produce of her little animals.

Mrs. Helen's tiny herd included Ms. Hen, Mr. Sheep, and Ms. Cow.

Ms. Hen was a beautiful brown and white feathered chicken, but she always had complaints.

She didn't like Mrs. Helen stealing her eggs and abandoning her without a family. Ms. Hen felt lonely, unlike Ms. Cow and Mr. Sheep, who both had families.

The problem started when Ms. Hen began complaining to her friends. She went on a hunger strike to protest Mrs. Helen's taking away their eggs, milk, and cotton wool.

First, Ms. Hen reached out to Ms. Cow and suggested they both go on strike. However, Ms. Cow disagreed, stating she appreciated Mrs. Helen relieving her of the agony of her large udders.

Ms. Hen then approached Mr. Sheep in hopes of receiving support. Mr. Sheep, however, liked Mrs. Helen shearing his wool, which might be hot and heavy at times. Feeling frustrated, Ms. Hen sat under a tree, wondering what to do next.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sheep and Ms. Cow considered Ms. Hen's complaints. They realised that, despite their discomfort, Mrs. Helen relied on the items they offered which were eggs, milk and the cotton wool.

They performed their daily song, "It's a little farm alright, in a little farm we share," and decided to assist Ms. Hen."It's a small farm, which we share.
Ms Hen feeds Mrs Helen eggs, and Mrs Helen gives her insects.
In exchange for her milk, Ms cow provides her with grass.
Mr sheep provides her with wool, and she in turn feeds her grass.

They advised her to speak with Mrs. Helen and seek for a compromise. Ms. Hen might have a little family with her own children, and Mrs. Helen would still receive eggs.

It was a win-win solution. Mrs. Helen listened to Ms. Hen's request and agreed to leave three eggs every time Ms. Hen laid eggs, allowing her to have a family.

With the agreement in place, peace restored to the small farmstead. The animals sang their favourite song, celebrating together, and life returned to normal. So, at the small farmhouse, everyone learnt the value of sharing and recognising one another's needs.
