A long, long, time ago, there was a brave hunter called Agya Nimo, who lived in Bayerebebon.

1

This man can hunt any animal that comes across his way but his fellow hunters cannot. So his colleagues were envious of him.

2

The Lion was the king of the animal kingdom.

3

One day the Lion called the animals in his kingdom to have a meeting about the killings of animals by Agya Nimo the hunter

4

The Lion appointed Mr. Dog to find the secret of the brave hunter. Mr. Dog turned into a male hunter who had no shelter to live in.

5

Immediately, when Agya Nimo saw him he tried to help him by taking him home. They soon became friends who did everything together.

6

One day Agya Nimo’s friend engaged him in a long conversation to find out the source of his strength. ‘’Ever since we became friends I’ve seen the special way you use to kill an animal while other hunters could not do so,

7

what is your secret? Asked the dog. I have a magic spell, Agya Nimo replied. Whenever an animal comes to attack me I will recite the spell and I will turn into a ‘brown leaf or sometimes stone.

8

After their conversation, they went to sleep.  Early the next morning.  Mr. Dog told his friend ‘I would like to visit my hometown. So the Dog took his bag and left the house. In the afternoon, Agya Nimo went to hunt.

9

He came across a Zebra not knowing it was his friend Mr. Dog who had turned himself like that.

10

The Zebra attacked Mr. Nimo, it stepped on him and he immediately turned into a leaf and again into a stone.

11

That was what saved Agya Nimo.  So this is a lesson to all of us never to your secret.
