Amadi was a wicked man. He never married. His brother, Udeme was married and had two handsome children. Anytime Amadi saw his nephews, he was angry.

1

One day, a gang of kidnapper abducted Amadi from his house. They took him deep into the bush and tied him up.

2

His brother, Udeme cried and worried and pleaded with everyone hoping they would know the abductors. No one seemed to know.

3

Amadi cried for help until he fell asleep. Soon, he heard footsteps. He quickly woke up and shouted, "Help! He!p!".

4

Luckily, it was his nephews going into the bush to hunt animals. They cut the ropes and rushed him home.

5

His eldest nephew spoke to him softly. "Uncle Amadi, you are like our father. We can't allow anything bad happen to you," he said. Amadi was so ashamed of his behaviours.

6

"I have foolishly hated you. I now know you are my children," he said. Udeme nodded in agreement.

7

He took them and showed them his big land. You can farm anywhere you like when the farming season comes. Everyone was happy.
