One morning, our teacher gathered us and shared exciting news.
"We're going on a special trip!" she exclaimed.
"We're going to visit Mulanje Mountain," she announced.
Mulanje Mountain is covered in dense forests and surrounded by rivers and waterfalls. It is a place of wonder and adventure, and we couldn't wait to go!
When we arrived at Mulanje, the mountain seemed even more impressive up close. It was like a giant sleeping dragon, covered in green.
Our teacher led us on a hike through the forest. We marvelled at the tall trees and colourful birds.
We learned that these trees provided homes for countless animals.
As we continued our hike, we came across a group of friendly animals.
There were monkeys, colourful butterflies, and many more.
Our guide told us about the importance of these wild animals.
We reached a clear place with a breathtaking view of Mulanje Mountain.
We sat down to enjoy our packed lunches and listened as our teacher explained the importance of mountains.
After our delicious meal, we decided to do something special for the mountain.
We each planted a tiny tree sapling as a way of giving back to nature.
Back at school, we looked out of our classroom windows, we could always see the majestic Mulanje Mountain, a reminder of our unforgettable adventure.
