There was a farm. One day, Rabbit called Baz overheard the farmer saying they were going to sell the animals.

Baz was so worried and panicked. He went of to tell Lela the chicken. "Oh Lela! If you knew what I have heard, you would run."

1

Lela said, "Oh no, I have to lay my eggs somewhere flat."

"Do not worry I will think of a plan for us to escape the farm," said Baz.

They went to tell Dog before it was too late.

2

They run together. After a while, Dog said, "I'm tired of running. My paws are getting dirty and I don't like that."

"Keep quiet, Dog, we are almost there," said Baz. The three animals went to tell another friend.

3

"We are there," said Lela.

They found Horse and told him about their plan. Horse was very sad and afraid.

4

"Run, run, very fast! Let's tell the others," said Horse.

So they all went far away from their homes.

5

Donkey was very noisy and wanted to jump up and down on the way.

He didn't like it when the others told him what to do. He said, "I hate rules."

6

They went to Cow and Cow said, "It is April Fools' Day, so it's not real."

Baz and the owner were happy again.

7

All the other animals went back to their homes.

They all lived peacefully again.
