Today seemed so sad.
After Mommy talked to the doctor on the phone, she fell to her knees.

My family that stayed in the local area started to gather together.
All of the grown folks were chit chatting, My great Aunt sara was crying and the others were telling old stories only they remembered.

They were telling stories about my grandpa.
I didnt understand, so I asked mama, why is all the family here?
Why is everyone so sad? I see everyone except grandpa . Where is my Papa?

Why is all the family here, are we having a cookout or something?

Do you remember why we have to stay home from work and school? Yea , beacuse it's a nasty virus that can effect any person's health, but elderly people whom have health issues,
this virus can be deadly to them.

Grandpa health wasn't strong enough to fight off the Covid 19 virus.
So that's whay Papa wasn't here today?
He always comes around when the family is over to the house. Yes, but this time everyone gather for the sake of him.

This morning the doctor called to tell me that ever since grandpa caught the coronavirus, his health has declined.
He said they tried everything to save him but his time has come.

My daddy , Your Grandfather is no longer here on earth with us. But he is with our Ancestors, our Angels in the sky.
Mommy, will he ever come back?
Will I see my Papa again? Baby just know, he is always with us in spirit.

When you think of him, He is with you.
When you smell his scent, he's here with you.
You can always talk to him, don't be afraid.
Papa went away far to a better place.

But just know, He is always here in your heart!
