Mwewa and the oranges

This is Mwewa
She is a girl
She is in grade three and lives with her grandmother

Mwewa wants to be a pilot when she grows up.
Mwewa studies hard every day at school
Mwewa is a good girl

This is Mwewa and her friend Chongo.
They are walking home from school.
Look, says Chongo. There is an orange tree, let us get some oranges and eat. Mr.Musenga will not know.
Mwewa knows it is bad to steal but she agrees.

Mwewa is climbing up the tree

Chongo calls Mr.Musenge and his wife to help her.
They ask her to slowly climb down the tree.
Do not be afraid, they say.

Mwewa cannot get down the tree she is stuck.
And Chongo cannot help her.

Mwewa finally climbs down the tree.
She is sad
She is sorry for trying to steal oranges
Do not steal, Mrs Musenga says, you should always ask when you need something.

Mwewa is happy again.
