The water in Mulunguzi River starts its journey near the top of Zomba Mountain. The clean water giggles as it slides over the rocks.
Water gets to William Falls and dives down in a waterfall. Splashes from the waterfall form small rainbows.
After the busy waterfall, the water assembles at Mulunguzi Dam. Water rests in this beautiful dam.
From the dam, water travels through Zomba Botanical Garden. The thick shade of tall trees cools the water. Monkeys drink here.
The water does not stay in the garden. The river flows under bridges, into the city.
This water is not clean anymore. It gathers in Nkada dam, where children swim.
Finally, there is Lake Chilwa. This is where the water ends its journey along the ground.
Lake Chilwa has no outlet. The water can only evaporate into the sky. In the sky, water gathers in clouds. And rain will fall from the clouds.
