The hungry donkey thought for a while.

Then he opened the stable door, went out, and ate.

3

Along the way, he stood on a thorn.

The thorn pierced the donkey's foot, but he kept walking.

4

The donkey met a hyena.

"Hello, who are you?" asked the donkey.

"Hello, I am hungry. I will eat you," replied the hyena.

5

6

The donkey replied, "Wait! The thorn in my hoof could get stuck in your throat."

"I will remove the thorn, then eat you," proposed the hyena.

7

The hyena removed the thorn from the donkey's hoof.

Immediately, the donkey kicked the hyena hard.

The donkey headed home.

8

The farmer came back from the market.

He surprised to find his donkey resting under a tree outside his house.
